First trip of 2019 - west to CA.

After a great win at the 2019 Wrestling Nationals in Pittsburgh, we got a good night’s sleep and headed up to Conneaut for Aunt Kay and Uncle John’s 50th anniversary party and then back home to pick up Lenny. Now we off again to explore a little before we end up in Northern CA. We have a new granddaughter who is going to make her appearance soon. 

Before we left, our wonderful choir friends gave us a granny shower. What fun that’s going to be to open those gifts with Shannon and Carl. 

We’ve traveled these roads several times since we’ve been going across the US. On I-71 we have seen Grandpa’s Cheesebarn in Ashland, Ohio. Each time we say “sometime we should stop.”  Well, today was that day. It’s definitely  worth the stop if you are on I-71. 

Lenny wants to be co-pilot!  

Finally stopped after 10 hours on the road outside of Louisville, KY, in a Walmart parking lot.
