Day 2 - headed for Burlington, VT

Got the camper packed up and drove into Lake George. Bill and Andrea and kids toured Fort William Henry and Lenny and I walked around town and went swimming in Lake George. 

Left King Phillip Camground around 11 am. Drove up Lake Shore Drive which is Route 9 to Fort Ticonderoga. Beautiful drive but mountainous and curvy.

Lenny and I walk around the park while Bill Andrea and the kids visited the fort. 

Drove by the Crown Point lighthouse and then rolled into Shelburne, VT, around 3 pm today.  

Beautiful day, lower humidity and lots of sun. Swam in the campground pool. Now we are sitting around a beautiful fire that Nathan made. Watch out Lou, you might have lost your job. 

Tomorrow we head to Jefferson, New Hampshire to Israel River Campground but not before we hit some of our favorite spots in Vermont: Ben and Jerry's, Cabot Cheese, Von Trapp house.  More later.
