A show in Tamworth - June 3

Today, Miriam took us to see a show called the Chooky Dancers (Djuki Mala), a contemporary Aboriginal dance show.  These dancers incorporate education of their culture with music and dance. We should get them to come perform at Eisenhower.

Driving back through the country, we saw more of their birds and animals.

Emu, but they call them bush chooky. .

Galah (grey and pink cockatoo). Usually seen in pairs.

Little Corella (often found in flocks and very noisy).

Eastern Grey (alpha male).  When he stands, he's about 2 meters.

White faced heron

Willie Wagtail (also called the restless flycatcher).
