Hiking in Dorrigo Rainforest and lunch in Belligen

What a lovely day. It started off rainy and dreary but we figured we'd get wet anyway in a rainforest so we started off.  Surprisingly, as we drove, the skies cleared and the sun came out and we didn't get wet. 

We visited the little town east of Armidale, Bellegen, that had an adorable shop of arts and crafts, with a lot of them Australian made. We ate lunch there and then started off to hike in Dorrigo Rainforest.  We saw several cascading falls, a few colorful birds, and walked about 6.6 kilometers.  Some pics of the rainforest:

Tired but happy, we headed back to Miriam's house for dinner.
