May 8 - Ridgway State Park

The morning was beautiful with deep blue skies and no clouds. After talking with Andrea, and having a personal tour of the campground on top of the hill, Bill decided to change campgrounds, still in Ridgway SP. now we are on the top of the Mesa and can see 360 views of the mountains and the valley. 

Only downfall is that most of the trails go downhill!  We took one this afternoon for about a 2 Miles. It’s about 80 degrees during the day and then cools down to about 55 at night. 

After the hike, Bill decided to wash the front of the camper. It was BUG city. After that hard work, he had to relax a little. 

The boys and I took a walk to an overlook and met some people who had gone to Penn State. It was fun reliving some of the PSU history with them. 

Those Re the San Juan mountains in the background. Still snow up there. 

After dinner we walked to the sunset trail to see what kind of a sunset Wes gerbsince the sky was cloudless. Not too vivid but still a sunset.
