July 16 - West of St. Louis

Driving across Indiana is not fun. Their roads are terrible. As soon as we crossed the line into Illinois, we couldn’t believe how much better to roads were. We crossed both the Mississippi and the Missouri Rivers. 

Made it to just west of St Louis and stayed at 370 Lakeside RV Park, a new campground with long pull through and fire pits. Alas, the temp was 95 degrees so we didn’t build a fire nor did we put the kayaks in the lake. 

BUT did get some St. Louis BBQ. It was delicious. AND another gorgeous sunset. So all was not lost.
