July 23 - Estes Park more hiking and some rain

Very overcast day and rain in the forecast so what do we do. We pack our raincoats and off for another hike.

Here’s a pic of the fog as we are driving up to Roosevelt National Forest once again. So many trails that dogs can use. Love it here

Decided to take the hike to Lake Isabelle Glacier today   It was a little challenging for me with the altitude but beautiful in the forest. Met so many interesting people on the trail. That’s what we enjoy - talking to others as we meet them on the trail.

As we were entering the NF, look what we saw. So excited and these moose could care less about us standing around taking photos.

See why it was so challenging for me!  Look at all those boulders. But up we went. Lenny had such fun climbing. Reuben was in his backpack taking a snooze

Here’s what we saw when we got to the top - foggy Lake Isabelle Glacier. But after we ate our cliff bars, the fog life’s for about 5 minutes. It was beautiful and worth the climb!

It started to rain a little on the way down but wasn’t too bad. Hiked about 5 miles today.

Came back to the RV and did some laundry since it was raining

Tomorrow we pick up Linda. Hope it’s a little better weather so she can see the beauty all around us.
