It was cloudy when we arrived in Bishop but no rain yet. We were able to make pizza mountain pies and s’mores!
The campground is built to look like an Old West town.
Unfortunately when we woke up one of the tires on the camper was quite flat. It looked like it had lost some air yesterday but when we took it to a service station to have it looked at, they had already closed for the day ... at 4 pm. Didn’t help us much. So decided to call Good Sam Travel Assistance but they couldn’t get anyone to us till 11.30 and it was only 8 am. So guess what. Bill decided to change it himself. But as he was starting the service man pulled in. Guess the 11:30 was just a guess. We would recommend Good Sam Travel Assistance if you travel a lot line we do. Getting the tired fixed and should be on our way soon. More later tonight.
Got on our way by 10!! Wow, still can’t believe how quickly it all got fixed.
The terrain is changing as we keep heading north on 395. Still majestic Sierra Nevada mountains but now pine trees, too.
And snow on the ground as we go north towards Tahoe.
LOVE those mountains!
