Day 5.- Monday, October 3

Today started off chilly at 41 degrees and didn't get a lot warmer as we drove across Utah and Nevada.

Saw this wildlife right next to our camper.

We left a little early because the people beside us told there was a storm coming on the pass we were going to go through to get to Utah. AND they were right.

Luckily we drove through with no problems, just slow going.

Skies still cloudy but mountains were still beautiful.

Came into Utah and the skies were still ominous.

Next was Salt Lake. Really enjoyed seeing the salt lakes with the mountains in the background. Notice we now have blue skies now. Much better.

Don't know what this is but it was unique and worthy of a photo.

Just when we were almost out of Utah, we stopped at this unusual rest stop and Lenny and I were able to put our feet in the salt lake. Of course we had to wash off my shoes and Lenny's feet. He wanted to go out further. What a nut for water.

Reuben said "are you guys crazy, it's cold out here.

On to Nevada, we went through a short tunnel.

Then we came to this little town of Wells. Not much there but there was a small museum about the California trail.

Finally made it to our resting place for tonight - Frontier RV Park (and Casino).

Tomorrow we hope to make it to California. We've made it this far in our tiny home on wheels!
