Day 8 - October 6 Around UC Davis and Winters

Today Drew had a meeting on campus so we went with him to see the campus. We walked UC Davus Arboretum. Loved the various areas planted in their native plants ... Australian, Mediterranean, Asian. 





Saw these turtles at the Arboretum. The Putah River runs along the Arboretum. 

Walked around the downtown of Davis. And had lunch with Drew and Erin. 




The campus is biking and walking, no cars. 


Relaxing in a hammock on campus. Does anyone get any study time?




This the "Old Main" of UCDavis. 

Drove to the town of Winters. A small town at the foothills of Napa Valley. Stopped at a brewery and then visited a quilt shop to get my fix. Then had a delicious dinner at Preserve.

    Beautiful! It's so cool that you've now seen the campus and can better picture Drew's work.
